A fire occurred on Saturday at Chester Zoo in Cheshire, UK, in a building the zoo says is the largest indoor zoological exhibit in the UK, at 11:30 a.m. local time. The only injury reported was a case of smoke inhalation. Some of the animals living there died.

German police investigators continued their previous day's search of the headquarters of Deutsche Bank in Frankfurt, Germany, for evidence of money laundering and other wrongdoing in connection to the so-called Panama Papers. A police spokesperson explained the roughly 170 searchers encountered such a volume of material the matter could not be concluded in one day.
